Love people and food? This trip will give you just that. You get to spend a day with a family living a typical Ugandan life
Itinerary
Morning
Arrive at the home for briefing on the day’s activities. Look forward to helping out in the home with different activities like cleaning, making breakfast and shopping a local market.
Mid Morning
After our return from the market, we’ll proceed to make a Ugandan dish. Some of the most popular foods are matooke [green bananas] and posho [Hot bread-like meal from corn]
Afternoon
We’ll have lunch about 2pm, hoping you enjoy what you cooked today. There after we’ll clean up and begin telling you more about our culture.
Evening
Now how about ending your day with some craft making as you learn more about our culture. We’ll end the day with some tea and typical Uganda bites [ground nuts],
