This adventure begins with a boat ride to Mabamba Swamp on Lake Victoria where you'll be spoilt for choice as you watch over 100 bird species feeding and nesting around; be sure to look out for the elusive shoebill stork. In the afternoon, you get to visit a chimpanzee Sanctuary.
Did you know that Uganda is home to the largest number of chimpanzees in the world? And you get to spend hours with them watching their feeding and lifestyle. In the evening, you can visit Entebbe's lush greenery and more bird species in the botanical gardens or just go shopping in the craft markets of of the town. You can end the day by unwinding with the night life. We look forward to your visit.
Itinerary
Morning [3-4 Hours], Take a boat ride to Mabamba Swamp for bird watching at 7am.
Brunch [1 hour] Have an early lunch at a local restaurant in Entebbe.
Afternoon [3-4 Hours]Take a speed boat at 1pm on Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
Evening [1-2 Hours] Shopping or Tour of Entebbe town.
Night - Entebbe Night life can be arranged.
