Uganda is quite the religious country with over 10 religions actively practiced. Come along with us on a tour of 3 religious sites with legendary stories.

Gaddafi National Mosque.

Start your tour with Uganda's largest mosque completed in 2006 with funding from the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. The mosque boasts stunning architecture and can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers. Visitors from all faiths are welcome to admire its beauty and ascend the minaret for panoramic views of Kampala.

Bahai Temple.

We'll then drive you to Africa's only Bahá'í Temple perched on Kikaya Hill 4 miles from the city center. Completed in 1961, this spiritual oasis boosts of unique architecture featuring a dome-like structure surrounded by lush gardens welcoming people of all faiths to find solace, inspiration, and harmony.

Namugongo Martyrs' Shrines.

Later, we'll usher you to a sacred site just outside Kampala where over 40 young Christian converts died for their faith in the late 19th century and have since been called the Ugandan Martyrs. Come walk part of their last journey on earth and hear about their boldness, conviction, death and canonization.
